12/4/2015 · For now can someone tell me just wtf Jump exceeds drive fuel use limit of 0.60 tons….. means when i try to jump into hyperspace?? it means your destination is too far away and you can’t jump directly to your destination. you can solve this by installing drive upgrades as the quickest and easiest way to improve your range. So annoying.
7/13/2017 · Let’s play Elite: Dangerous! Here’s how you solve the problem when you get the Frame Shift Cancelled: Jump Exceeds Drive Fuel Use Limit message.
1/4/2016 · The bigger (and better) the drive for the lower the mass the further you can jump. The fuel required for each jump also increases non-linearly with distance, so larger jumps use a lot more fuel – so another way of thinking about it is that larger/better FSDs allow more fuel to be used at once.
7/3/2016 · Frame Shift Cancelled: Jump Exceeds Drive Fuel Limit of 5 Tons. I keep getting this message when I moved to a ASP Explorer: My issue is that my cargo is full and I’m unable to actually increase my weight when I use the galaxy map to plot the course.
11/8/2012 · That’s just the flavor text for the jump exceeding your current range. Basically saying that your FSD has a max fuel usage and you’d exceed it by attempting the jump. Sometimes this happens if you plot a route with less than full fuel then scoop additional fuel which increases your mass and ironically decreases jump range.
Each FSD has a maximum fuel usage per jump, which gives the maximum jump range for a given ship configuration and load. Do you have enough fuel in your main tank to make the jump? Here you are in the first case: the jump would require more than 1.2t of fuel, which is the limit of your FSD.
Higher is generally better, it increases distance of single jump by using more fuel (but fuel efficiency is decreasing if you use fuel up to the limit – the longer jump the more fuel is wasted). The standard upper limit is 5 ton per jump. Engineers can increase it a little (e.g. 5.21 ton per jump). If you manually select some distant system in the galactic map (without building a route to it) and try to jump, you will receive.
bigger frame shift drive is ideal for this, lets you go further per jump get it up to 15-20 and you wont have to worry about doing really elaborate workarounds more fuel is also nice, but as long…
2/10/2017 · It doesn’t apply to fuel , but rather fuel consumption on the next jump , and only the next jump . If your FSD has a 4 ton limit , plotting a 100% boost level in the map, activating a 25% boost you will get the familiar jump exceeds maximum fuel injection warning.
