1/12/2018 · I like Ka band performance on my R3 which is why I kept it. However, aside from poor laser performance (and lack of arrows / auto lockouts for obvious reasons), my biggest gripe with the R3 (fw 1.31) is that is falses way too often on K band . I understand it is sensitive, but filtering needs improvement / refinement to quiet this bad boy down.

6/16/2017 · If you have a Uniden R1 or Uniden R3 , you can change the settings to give yourself better performance, filter out more false alerts, change the display color to match your vehicle’s interior, and basically tweak it to what you prefer.. Now there’s no universal “best” settings for everyone of course since what’s best depends on where you drive and even your own personal preferences.
